Chairman Bísí Àkàndé meets AD-USA
AD-USA is pleased to invite you to the first official meeting of the AD outside Nigeria in furtherance of the drive for progress, unity and prosperity in Nigeria.
Chairman Àkàndé, will meet with AD members in Nigeria and diaspora to discuss and answer questions regarding the current disposition, the state of Nigeria, solutions and the beginnings of the development of a platform that will rescue Nigeria.

ALLIANCE FOR DEMOCRACY (AD), USA CHAPTER
AD-USA PREPARES FOR CHIEF BISI AKANDE'S US TOUR

In preparation for the visit of the National Chairman of AD (Alliance for Democracy), Chief Bisi Akande, the National Executive Committee of Alliance for Democracy, USA Chapter met to prepare a grand reception. Chief Bisi Akande, who is currently energizing the AD nationally and worldwide, will visit the USA and have a meeting with AD-USA members and supporters to apprise them of the developments in the body politic, especially in the party.
At the National Executive Committee meeting of AD-USA chaired by its chairman, Oloye Lekan Awojoodu, the meeting identified and outlined some issues to be addressed with Chief Akande during his visit.
After the meeting, Oloye Awojoodu urged all AD members to please be present at the reception in DC on October 22 2005. The reception also coincides with the birthday celebrations of the AD-USA Chairman who emphasized that this visit will be a great opportunity for all members and friends of AD USA and particularly, all friends of democracy in Nigeria, to meet face to face with the AD National chairman and have frank discussions with him. Urging all to ask the hard questions, he noted that these questions will need to be answered forthrightly, so that AD can take its rightful position in promoting the progress of Nigeria and the entrenchment of democracy in its body politic.
Promising that AD-USA will strongly enter the field come 2007, Oloye Awojoodu pointed out that AD-USA was preparing thoroughly and pledged to make this a strong component of his work in the coming weeks. He also promised to work hard to ensure that AD-USA helps to build the AD platform for progress in Nigeria towards 2007 when AD will take the seat of government through the ballot box.
At the meeting, attended by members of the National Executive Committee of AD-USA, were also many stalwarts of the party in the United States, including, Otunba Jumoke Ogunkeyede, Honorable Molade Binuyo, Chairman of AD-USA Baltimore, Professor M. E. Aluko, Alhaja Oyejide and Prince Bayo Ogunmeno. AD-USA national officers in attendance were Oloye Lekan Awojoodu, National Chairman, Dr. Biodun Dada, Deputy National Chairman, Barrister Dele Alade, National Secretary, Dr. Olugbemiga Ekundayo, National Director of Communications, Dr. Tunji Ojeranti, National Financial Secretary, Princess Titi Arojojoye, National Treasurer, Dr. Baba Adams, National Vice Chairman and Mr. Oloruntoba Lacrown, a National Vice Chairman of the party.
